Itinerary

Day 1DEPARTURE
We fly direct to Vienna, Austria’s elegant capital, ready to begin a journey rich in music, history, and culture.
Day 2VIENNA
Welcome to Vienna! Upon arrival, we transfer to the hotel for a brief orientation and some leisure time to settle in. Later, we venture to Vienna’s Heurigen wine region for a traditional winemaker’s dinner, savoring local wines and regional specialties in an authentic, charming setting amid rustic vineyards.
Day 3VIENNA / MOZART’S MAGIC
A guided tour takes us along Vienna’s elegant boulevards, past magnificent imperial monuments, and among the cultural treasures that make Austria’s capital so grand. See the city’s historic squares, architectural gems, and stately palaces, all echoing the legacy of centuries of Habsburg grandeur. In the evening, delight in a gourmet dinner accompanied by a classical performance by the Wiener Mozart Orchester, where the timeless melodies of Mozart bring Vienna’s magic to life.
Day 4VIENNA OPERA HOUSE
Explore the splendour of the Vienna State Opera on a guided walking tour, admiring its ornate interiors and learning about its illustrious history. In the evening, enjoy a captivating performance— ballet, opera, or concert—immersing yourself in the city’s legendary musical world.
Day 5VIENNA’S MASTERPIECES
Today, experience the grace and precision of the famous Spanish Riding School, where elegant Lipizzaner horses perform classical dressage in a stunning baroque arena. Later, visit Belvedere Castle, home to one of the world’s largest Klimt collections, and wander through its beautifully landscaped gardens and Lower Belvedere exhibitions, enjoying a perfect blend of art, architecture, and history.
Day 6AUSTRIA’S HIDDEN GEM / LINZ
Depart Vienna and head to Linz, a city where Baroque charm meets contemporary art. Choose a museum visit at the Lentos Art Museum, showcasing works by Klimt, Schiele, Kokoschka, and international artists, or explore the Ars Electronica Center, the “Museum of the Future,” with interactive exhibits including the immersive Deep Space 8K experience. Later, board the historic Pöstlingerbahn to Linz’s Hausberg to enjoy panoramic views of the Salzburger mountains.
Day 7SALZBURG—THE SECOND CAPITAL OF CLASSICAL MUSIC
We drive to Salzburg, Austria’s Baroque gem and the second capital of classical music. A guided tour reveals Mozart’s birthplace and residence, bringing his early life and musical genius vividly to life. Explore the Salzburg Fortress to discover the city’s oldest history and enjoy breathtaking city views. In the evening, savor a Mozart dinner concert, where exquisite cuisine, classical music, and theatrical flair for an unforgettable experience.
Day 8SALZKAMMERGUT —LAKES & “THE SOUND OF MUSIC” / SALZBURG
Depart for a scenic tour of the Salzkammergut, Austria’s stunning lake district. Visit the charming town of Mondsee, famed for its role in The Sound of Music, then take a picturesque boat ride from St. Gilgen to St. Wolfgang, soaking in the lakeside charm and alpine scenery of this idyllic region. Optional tickets for a classical Mozart concert at Mirabell Hall can be arranged for those wishing to extend the musical magic.
Day 9MELK ABBEY / VIENNA
Return to Vienna, stopping en route at the magnificent Melk Abbey, a Benedictine monastery perched above the Danube, with opulent interiors and centuries of history. Continue to LOISIUM Wine World to explore Austria’s wine heritage and sample regional wines. In the evening, arrive in Vienna, where our last three nights of discovery await.
Day 10MUSEUM HIGHLIGHTS OF VIENNA & SCHLOSSORCHESTER /VIENNA
Delve into Vienna’s artistic treasures with a guided tour of the Kunsthistorisches Museum, home to masterpieces by Bruegel, Raphael, and Rubens. After a short break, continue to Vienna’s Museum Quartier for a guided tour that reveals both highlights and hidden gems of one of Europe’s largest cultural districts. The afternoon is at leisure to explore Vienna at your own pace, perhaps strolling through charming streets or enjoying a café terrace.
Day 11SCHÖNBRUNN PALACE / FAREWELL CONCERT
Visit Schönbrunn Palace, arguably Austria’s most iconic landmark, boasting 1,441 rooms and opulent architectural splendour. Learn about the Habsburg dynasty and enjoy a Strudelshow at Café Gerstner, watching the famous apple strudel being prepared and tasting it fresh from the oven. A final stroll through the palace gardens offers a last glimpse of imperial elegance. Our farewell dinner and concert at the Schönbrunn Orangery provide the perfect grand finale to your Austrian journey.
